Yeast Infections : Standard yeast therapies are only effective against certain yeasts, such as the common candida sp. If you have another type of yeast, the drugs will not work. It is best to discuss this possibilty with your gynecologist. If routine microscopic preps fail to show any yeast forms under the microscope, this is puzzling and one might wonder if the symptoms are due to something else.
