Do statins reduce the power of the immune system or enhance it?

Anti-inflammatory: Statins not only reduce cholesterol but they also appear to reduce inflammation caused by the immune system. Unfortunately clinical trials for diseases like asthma have not found benefit. Some patients get more nasopharyngitis or urinary tract infections according to the package insert.

No: There really is no such thing as an "immune booster, " other than as a means for supplement manufacturers to get people to buy their supplements. There are immune suppressants such as steroids and chemotherapy drugs, but statins are not among them.

CoQ10: It may not hinder your immune system but it definitely can cause fatigue and muscle aches. One way to help prevent this is to take coenzyme q10.
