It depends: If you had an unstable fracture it could take up to 4 weeks. If it was a stable fracture and you promise not to punch anything, then today.

It depends...: The location and character of the fracture makes a big difference on how hand fractures are treated and how long they take to heal. Fifth metacarpal ractures are usually casted 4-6 weeks and then a slow return to more regular activities is allowed. People working desk jobs can work with the cast on, those requiring their hand for heavy activities need 6-8 weeks before returning -.

Depends: It depends on the location of the fracture, angulation and damage (comminution). Usually 4-6 weeks.
