Been pregnant, birth control pills, yo-yo diets, family history, GI diseases, etc. Assuming you aren't diabetic (it gets more complicated for them) you have stones and no symptoms, then you may go your whole life without a problem. Remove gb if pass stone, certain other gb changes, polyps, etc. See your doc, discuss your specifics.

Depends: It depends on weather or not you are having symptoms. If you are having symptoms like crampy pain in right upper abdominal area after a fatty meal , you probably need your gall bladder out.
