Cycle resetting: You can "work" to shorten this required rest time period with practice, but until have mastered it, just have to be satisfied with satisfying your partner.

Refractory period?: Most basic textbooks on "human sexuality" describe a refractory period post orgasm, in men, during which they are not able to climax. You might want to read about the human sexual response cycle, meticulously described by masters & johnson decades ago! especially, do not assume that men & women are alike in this regard... Or almost any other!...You can still "have sex" as far as "being sexual"...

Refractory Period: This is normal. The "refractory period" is the time between climax and being ready to have at it again. This interval gradually increases with age and is quite variable between individuals. A 17 year-old may have a refractory period of 10 minutes (or even zero), while a 70-year old man may take several days to be ready for round 2.
