Hard to say: It is hard to say with limited info. If you recently sustained a vertebral fracture, they can often heal and are often treated with pain meds, rest and possibly a brace. Some require surgery. If it happened some time ago, then tests are often used to tell you why you are hurting and what your alternatives are. Thank you for your question.
