Terrible pain in middle of spine & left middle back that radiates around the side of my body. do work at a desk all day so maybe muscular? hurts with movement and rest. i've convinced myself its a pe (thanks anxiety) using heat but no relief?

I'm suspicious of a radiculopathy, a nerve inpingement by a bone spur or bulging disc in the midspine. An MRI would he able to detect such a problem. I recommend consulting a neurologist. Appropriate testing would be done.
