Evaluation: It would be important for the reason for the recurrences to be determined. By chest infection, do you mean pulmonary (lung) or on skin of chest? Recommend medical evaluation to determine the underlying problem. Take care.

Chest infection : Chest infection are very common and anyone can get it but elderly, young children, smokers and people with long term Chest problems like asthma are more likely to get them .Quitting smoking, having a better control of asthma , taking flu vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine ( if someone has long term chest condition like COPD and over 65 ) , eating healthy diet could help to decrease chest infections
