Depends: It could be that you have had bad luck; alternatively, you could be misdiagnosed and be having recurrent bouts of COPD exacerbation, vs. The more ominous, you could have an immune deficiency such as hiv. It is difficult to assess with such little information, i would recommend a thorough discussion with your doctor.
