I get reoccurring boils, very painful. 1 now is purple. i have gotten them since about 2013, all when i started to get an infection in my breast. which came back as a staph something bacteria. is it possible these boils are related? breast is finenow?

Recurrent boils: You may have staph bacteria colonizing your skin with periodic invasiveness causing abscesses(boils). When these infections keep recurring I find that a prolonged course of a potent antistaphyllococcal antibiotic is needed to eradicate them. In my experience Dicloxacillin has been very effective as long as the patient is not allergic to penicillin. In the meantime,apply hot soaks to promote draini
