Recurrent boils: You may have staph bacteria colonizing your skin with periodic invasiveness causing abscesses(boils). When these infections keep recurring I find that a prolonged course of a potent antistaphyllococcal antibiotic is needed to eradicate them. In my experience Dicloxacillin has been very effective as long as the patient is not allergic to penicillin. In the meantime, apply hot soaks to promote draini
