I'm 43 years old, semi healthy i have hypothyroidism and ibs. this past year i have had tons of trouble remembering names of things. what could it be?

Lots of possibilitie: Go see your doctor. Your thyroid medication may need to be adjusted. Perhaps you're anemic. Depressed. Anxious. Maybe other issues related to your ibs. Regardless, if you're concerned, talk to your doctor about testing & treatment. Don't forget that you need to get enough sleep, eat healthy & exercise regularly so that your mind/memory can function at its best.
