Dxd w/ ms in 2010, tried avonex (interferon beta 1a) & copaxone but it was stopped b/c bad reactions. same thing w/ plaquinil for my lupus work up. what could do that?

OK, let's sort out.: Do you really have ms or do you have lupus, which can mimic, or do you have both? You need an experienced expert at a good medical school to sort this out. Once all is clarified and confirmed, and indeed if you have ms, do not use the old washed out drugs; rather, consider one of the orals or tysabri (natalizumab). Regardless of diagnosis, you should be taking supplemental vitamin d. Get a new opinion.
