I am a teenage girl with ocd. is it a bad thing and how can i help it on my own?

Seek treatment: Ocd is not a "bad thing" anymore than developing a thyroid problem, having high blood pressure or being anemic are bad. It is a medical condition that will benefit form treatment. It is not from anything you did or didn't do, and you are not crazy. But you do need treatment. Best treatment consists both of behavioral cognitive therpay and medication therapy combined. You can lead a normal life!
