Flu-like symptoms: With mono, you may just have a sore throat and general illness symptoms. The most common detail is that symptoms continue for weeks - you may be sick and tired for a month. If you have felt sick for several weeks, and it doesn't seem to be going away; it may be worth getting a blood test to see if you have mononucleosis.
