Can i take asprin before i go to dentist?

It depends: If you are going for an evaluation for pain then Aspirin could prevent an accurate diagnosis. Also if you are to have surgery, it will cause increased bleeding. Otherwise, no problem.

Yes: Be sure to tell the dental personnel if you have taken Aspirin recently as it tends to prolong blood clotting. This may be important if you are having any type of oral surgery.

Sure but...: An asprin or two, swallowed before a dental visit (presumably to help alleviate discomfort during and after treatment) shouldn't present any issues. However, if you are taking asprin on a daily basis, your ability to clot quickly maybe an issue. This is especially true for oral surgery or periodontal surgery where bleeding is expected.
