Nope: Just because braces aren't "hurting" or still feel as "tight" does not mean that they are still not working. Ask your orthodontist for an estimate of remaining treatment at your next visit. Don't assume that they are finished - there may be much left to do. Only the orthodontist knows for sure.

Not necessarily: Your orthodontist is fine tuning your teeth and bite. Many of these small adjustments are barely noticeable. Ask your orthodontist how much time you might have left. Congratulations on a beautiful smile in the making!
