I was told i have an lcl strain and a tight it band. i was going to physical theropy but i am in leave until my next base. should i get a hinge brace to help me run?

Yes: With an lcl strain you need to take the stress off the ligament. A hinged knee brace can help. Also nsaids & ice after activity. Stretching the it band is critical if it is tight and hurts, decreasing your running while it's inflamed is important.

No: Get a foam roller and a home program from your therapist.
