Many options: 1. Consider ginger 500 mg-1, 000 mg before flight. 2. Prescription antinausea medicine zofran (ondansetron) works well and does not cause drowsiness. 3. Scopolamine patches are a bit drastic (last 72 hours unless removed) but do work 3. Minimize air sickness: sit over wings on plane for smoothest ride, eat lightly, avoid alcohol, avoid reading, keep eyes closed and meditate or listen to music.
