Starting an OC: usually does not produce nausea in most patients especially when using one of the lowest dose pills on the market. So patients who have not tried pills or have not had nausea on OC's in the past will usually not get nausea. If nausea lasts into the second pack, try 1. Taking it at night, 2. Taking with a small amount of food or 3. Substituting a different brand of pills or consider Ring/Depo/IUD
