I was given prescription for hydroxyzine palmotate 25mg for anxiety. should i use that or dramamine (dimenhydrinate) for nausea and nervous stomach? i can barely eat, nausea bad

Stick w/ hydroxyzine: These medicines are very similar and both should work for your nausea. Instead of mixing meds, just stick with the Hydroxyzine for both anxiety and nausea. Also, you can try ginger containing products or vitamin b6 to help with your nausea. Hope you feel better soon.

Use the hydroxyzine: The Hydroxyzine (or vistaril) is an anti-histamine medication. They can, in fact, help with a decrease in that feeling of being nauseous. It can make you drowsy though. Anti-histamine class of medications can dry you out, so i always recomend trying to keep well hydrated with them. Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) can also help but it is not as potent.
