Randomly, i will have a spasm/twitch that makes my upper body, especially my arms, jerk. there is no pain. what could this be? tourettes?

Possible : If your arms tend to move suddenly with this twitch, it mostly sounds like a myoclonic jerk. Another possibility is a tic or form of dyskinesia. Involuntary movements often cannot be diagnosed accurately unless the neurologist is able to observe the movement. If these movements are not very frequent, i suggest you capture one on your video to show your neurologist.
