See your doctor: There are so many different causes for nystagmus, that involve the inner ear or different parts of the brain. These range from an inner ear infection to calcium deposits in the inner ear to more serious conditions such as a stroke, tumor, or infection in the back of the brain including the cerebellum (responsible for coordination) or the brainstem.
