A member asked:

Should people ( or more so me) who can "activate" nystagmus in their eyes get checked out by a doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: Its an involuntary fast uncontrollable eye movement. Side to side (horizontal nystagmus) up and down (vertical nystagmus) rotary (rotary or torsional nystagmus) depending on the cause, these movements may be in both eyes or in just one eye. It could be congenital at birth or acquired from injury or disease.
