A member asked:

Does long term disport injections have bad side effects?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Dysport (abobotulinuma toxin) is an injectable muscle relaxer fda approved for treatment of cervical dystonia and glabellar (frown) lines in adults. Common side effects are related to spread of the toxin to adjacent undesired areas thus injection by an experienced physician is crucial. All botulinum toxins can have decreased effectiveness after long term use due to development of immunity.
