Severe depression/anciety, not on meds, & would like 2 know y i get this awful feeling in my gutt as if my depression is residing in my stomach?

It could be: Physiologic symptoms of anxiety / panic can include nausea and abdominal pain. The sensation could be related to anxiety or due to a separate medical condition. Because you are suffereing, i hope your are receiving medical care. You might benefit from psychotropic medications.

Different people : Take out their anxiety on different parts of the body. Common figures of speech reflect this tendency, i.e., "it's a pains in the neck, " "i need this like a hole in the head." you may take things out on your stomach. In therapy it is a good idea to learn to relax and pay special attention to the part of the body that you tend to focus anxiety on.

Depression and gut: Believe it or not we make most of the chemicals for depression in our stomachs (our gut) and not our brain. These chemicals can lead to feelings of nausea, low appetite, even constipation. In fact, there is a high risk for depression in people with severe or chronic constipation. This is why people often say they 'feel it in their gut' when something is not right.
