My friend has continuous stomac issues i think it is ibs but he refuses to treat it -if left untreated what is the prognosis?

There are no systemic complications of IBS, if that is what he/she has. It will cause him/her discomfort and if the person chooses to put up with it, that is her/his choice. Diet change may help. IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion and somewhat overused in trying to diagnose gastrointestinal symptoms. Would suggest convincing your friend to see his doctor in order to have his symptoms addressed.
