Nutrition is the key: The crucial part about losing a little more fat has to do with diet. It seems you have the proper exercise routine but you should evaluate your nutrition and what kind and how much food you are eating. Doing crunches will build muscle, but to get rid of the fat around the midsection you need to eat right.
