No: Most of the time adhd is a clinical diagnosis.

Larger spectrum: Suspect that the physician is looking to rule out or rule in a variety of potential disorders. Psychiatric disorders / neurologic disorders in children can be very difficult to assess.

No: You can diagnose adhd without the tests mentioned. MRI is not approved for adhd diagnosis. The FDA cleared few tests to aid in the diagnosis of adhd. If other medical conditions are suspected, targeted tests are appropriate
