Laparoscopy: I tell my patients that do sit down jobs to return to work in 7-10 days. If you lift heavy objects or your job is physically demanding allow 2-3 weeks before returning to work.

1-2 weeks: Most people can return to work 10-2 weeks after a laparoscopic surgery.
