Depends on medicatio: Some medications may be able to be stopped by decreasing the dose gradually - others may not depending on what is being treated.

May/may not : Treatment with psychotropic meds and then discontinuing them may result in: *complete recovery with no residual sxs. And no return of illness.*remitting / recurring course of illness. *70% or less or more than 70% recovery with some residual sxs.* may cause medication specific withdrawal sxs and recurrence of illness. *worsening is possible, but not frequent and improves with restarting the meds.
