I'm allergic to iodine. i am hashi hypothyroid. can only take brand synthroid (thyroxine) & cytomel. but when taken together i have a severe allergic reaction.

Check w/Pharmacist: If you mean taking the two pills at the same time causes a reaction, but taking either one by itself does not, then you could try taking them several hours apart (like one w/bkfst and other w/dinner). If that fails, will need to talk to endocrinologist to see if can manage on one agent.
