Trauma: Lipoma is a benign fatty growth. Bruising is unusual but if you bump something, hit something hard, that could cause a bruise in that area. Otherwise, see your doctor if it persists.

Unrelated. : Did you experience any trauma @ this area? If not, i would see a primary care doctor to sort out what your presumed lipoma is.
