Have small lipoma near thoracic spine. should i remove it? can it cause trouble? hurts a little.

Usually benign: Lipomas are usually benign, but depending on location and size it may put pressure on a muscle or a nerve and start causing discomfort and pain . Having it removed early is wise so you don't worry about it , also to make sure it's a lipoma and not something else.

Depends on exact: Size, how deep it is, how bad your symptoms are, and if you can be sure that it is lipoma (and nothing more serious). Show it to a surgeon for specific diagnosis and advice.
