Is it possible that my partner has been wrongly diagnosed with scabies? i have been itchy around 6 months with no rash, he's no rash either

Misdiagnose occurs.: Scabies itch is caused by an allergy to the tiny mites, and some people are more allergic and have more itch and rash then others who also have scabies. It one person has scabies in a house hold, then its best to treat everyone living in that household. In nursing homes and hospitals, nurses and other pesonnel can transmit scabies from patient to patient, a mini epidemic and everyone need meds.

Both itchy?: Are you both itchy or just you? On occasion, itching from scabies can last for several weeks. If it is only you who is itching, you probably need to see a dermatologist now.
