Can check with Dr.: Sore throat symptoms may or may not have something to do with the upper GI endoscopy, since the throat was ok for a day and a half after the procedure. With such symptoms, one can call her primary care doctor or the GI doctor to see what the cause might be. If not related to the upper gi, the sore throat could be a cold or a strep throat infection, among other things.
