Not usually: Most of the time the pain is in the right upper quadrant of the belly. However I have seen the pain in the chest, the right lower quadrant and the left upper quadrant of the belly. Just like heart attack pain, it can be from the teeth to the testicles.

Sometimes: When a stone is passed, can cause an obstruction to the common tube that drains the gallbladder and pancreas into the intestine. That could cause moderately severe left upper or mid upper abdominal pain. Inside not wired like skin, so sometimes pain is not felt right over the source. Tests can help sort out the cause.
