Low calorie low carb: In general you want to eat less carbs if you can. They turn into glucose. If you monitor your diet and blood sugar carefully you will find that if you eat protein and low carbs your glucose control will be a little easier. I am not a dietician - you might want to ask your diabetes specialist to recommend one.
