Need more info: Yes, TB could give you chronic flank pain, but the cause is up to the urologist to determine. Often, the radiologic findings are fairly typical when you have renal tb, but there are a variety of other steps that can be taken. Might be helpful to see an id doctor along with the urologist.

Yes, but not likely: If TB is effecting the kidney, there will usually be visible abnormalities. There are non-urologic causes of flank pain. If the urologist does not find any urologic issues, then your should see your primary and be checked for musculoskeletal issues.
