A member asked:

I'm 19 and thinking to go to gym for body buildup, does it decrease my height, and what are the natural supplements should i have regularly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exercise is good: No, exercise does not decrease one's height. During the growing years, plenty of mild to moderate exercise is great to do, and helps one grow to his maximum genetic height. No supplements are needed if a person is getting a very balanced, natural, healthy diet. Be sure to get enough vitamin d and calcium, usually from nonfat or low fat, low sugar dairy products.
