Autoimmune: There is likely a connection between the uveitis and ulcerative colitis as both can be autoimmune related. If the uveitis is quiet, perhaps you have has a change in prescription causing intermittent blurry vision. Your eyes should be dilated to rule out associated macular edema or vitreous inflammation that could cause blurry vision.

Dry eyes: Intermittent blurred vision can be caused by dry eyes. Get some artificial tears and put these in when you are blurred. If this does not help, see your ophthalmologist for further evaluation.
