For a person with ulcerative colitis at what point should you head to the doctor or er when it comes to bleeding from the intestines?

Bloody stool along with mucus is common in UC or IBD. However, you should go to urgent care or ER when bleeding is heavy (more than 6 bloody stools/day) and you have other constitutional symptoms such as fever, severe fatigue, lightheadedness, near syncope, palpitation, etc.
