Vegetables: Generally vegetables, except peas, potatoes and corn are low in carbohydrates. Most important issue in controlling your weight is the total caloric intake. A balanced diet should include whole grains, fresh vegetables, fruits and be low in saturated fats. Exercise is equally important.
