Exercise your brain: You may take vitamin E (no more than 2000 iu/week), vitamin c, omega 3 fatty acids, turmeric. Keep your cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar under control. Exercise your mind by learning new things, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, playing chess. See your doctor early on, so that your memory impairment can be tested and tracked. Prescription medication may be given if needed.

See your doctor: If your memory is genuinely that bad, especially if it's worsening so that you are noticing (ask the people close to you....They may be noticing even more than you are), then you need to be evaluated by your physician.
