A member asked:

I have a bad itching in my groin area, in my inner upper thighs. what should i do and what should i apply to reduce the itching?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See Dermatologist: Most people will diagnose their groin rash or itching as a fungal infection and treat themselves with otc antifungal creams. However not all groin rashes are caused by fungus. Some rashes can be caused by irritation or allergic reaction to underwear or skin care products. Others may be caused by bacteria. If you have tried otc products unsuccessfully it may be time to consult your dermatologist.
