Prognosis is guarded: Multiple system atrophy is difficult to treat. I approach it as I do ms. I recommend vit B12 and Adenosine monophosphate injections weekly, low dose Naltrexone (4.5 mg) every night, phosphatidylserine 300 mg/day, phosphatidylcholine 1, 000 mg/day, acetyl-l-carnintine 1, 500 mg/day, Alpha lipoic acid 600 mg/day, selegeline 5 mg/day in am, 6 mg melatonin at bedtime, dhea 100 mg in am.
