Source Control: If extensive, you may need to take an antibiotic by mouth to address your infection. I would also think carefully about what your head is touching- You may just be reinfecting your scalp. Are you using the same hat or pillow or comb or towel without washing or disinfecting these objects prior to their use? Are you leaving scratch marks on your scalp? Did you recently changed your shampoo? Dyeing?
