Ok to double T4: Despite what that pharmacy says, thyryoid hormone has a very long half life of 7-10 days. This means with thyroid hormone you can safetly double your dose for the days your miss and you will not feel anything. If you forget your pills on a weekend trip, when you return take 2 tablets/day until you make up your missed pills. You cannot do this with anyother medication.
