Tendon vs nerve: You could have a combination of epicondylitis versus cubital tunnel or combo. If small finger going numb it indicates ulnar nerve. If thumb thru ring finger going numb could be carpal tunnel and unassociated with elbow. If symptoms continue based on age would advise checking thyroid panel or fasting blood glucose for other sources of neural irritation.

Cubital tunnel: You are putting stress on the ulnar nerve which is commonly called the "funny bone". Pressure or flexing of the elbow will cause it to be irritated and then numbness/tingling down to the hand. Try to get a elbow pad to protect it for a few weeks and it will likely go away.
