Cervicitis: Cervicitis need not be always due to an infectious agent; often, hormonal variations can cause the otherwise well lubricated cervical os and upper vagina to undergo changes in texture, thickness, and moisture content. Give your gynecologist a call to explain his findings and, given your history of pcos, recommend a treatment plan.

Depends: Yeast can cause cervicitis - the best answer would come from the person that gave you that diagnosis. Certainly not all cases of cervicitis are caused by std's.
