Dry Cough: Many people are plagued by an intermittent cough that is really a complex issue with pharyngeal muscles and hypersensitivity of the cough reflex. This problem is persistent and hard to eradicate. In other cases, the cough can be due to certain drugs - such as ace inhibitors - you might be taking for blood pressure or cardiac problems. You might want to discuss the issue with your doctor.
